Welcoming Committee

Two content animals...waiting patiently for their loving humans to return. Aaah...if only that was true! When we leave the house, the opening and closing of the door is accompanied by the frenzied barking of the little Sheltie who has separation anxiety. When we return, the welcoming comittee is typically comprised of Spike, at the front window, the woofie barking madly right behind the front door and Angel just inside the door to the left, head trying to push out as soon as the door is opened. Sebastian lurks in the background, usually halfway up the stairs, watching to see if he has an opportunity to escape into the great outdoors.

heh heh...The Baby salutes you! she is the Original Escape Artist at our house. Mommy usually is greeted with a sea of tails when she gets home from work.

It is such a great feeling to come home and be greeted bu upturned, trusting little faces!

Itis so nice to be greeted at the door! Also I like it when working in the garden, I'll look up and find a kitty in a window, watching intently...probably hoping that it's catnip I'm picking to bring in for Their Royal Majesties...

Ah well! So, it's a little noisy when you come home. Better that than silence!

This is a wonderful picture of Spike and Girly, by the way. Suitable for framing, I think.
