A new little baby..and already there is a guardian cat on the job! One of my friends at work is celebrating a new grandchild and had this wonderful photo to show me. The last time I saw this handsome furry was when he was a small kitty just being welcomed into his new family. My friend says her daughter's himmie is well behaved and is very careful when settling in beside the new baby.

The Watch Cat
A new little baby..and already there is a guardian cat on the job! One of my friends at work is celebrating a new grandchild and had this wonderful photo to show me. The last time I saw this handsome furry was when he was a small kitty just being welcomed into his new family. My friend says her daughter's himmie is well behaved and is very careful when settling in beside the new baby.

We LOVE the photo of the "watch cat"... at Zoolatry we have two himmies & they entertain our now
10-month old grandson who stays with us in the daytime while his parents work; both are good with him (tho I admit to some of the photos being photoshopped)... stop by Zoolatry tomorrow if you want to see what I mean...

I think this kitty is like a surrogate mom (even if it is a mancat). It's also quite funny to see that the cat is bigger than the baby.
This will be a great picture to show the child when she is older.
